Dr. Vikram M. Atit, MD
Dr. Vikram M. Atit, MDNeurologist

Dr. Vikram M. Atit has been practicing in the Pasco, Pinellas area since 1997. He is affiliated with the Baycare system at Mease Countryside, Dunedin and Advent system at North Pinellas. Board certified in Neurology since 1997. He is actively involved in clinical trials for Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Atit has been a speaker in all aspects of Neurology including Migraine and Epilepsy (current), previously for Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s. As a general Neurologist, Dr. Atit has vast experience in all aspects of Neurology.

On a personal level, he enjoys traveling and watching sports. He is in the hall of fame for fantasy football. Dr. Taruna Atit, his wife, manages the practice. His daughter is on the way to becoming a Neurologist.
His mother sadly suffered from both Alzheimer’s and A.L.S. both of which were diagnosed by him and his continuous passion for Neurology in the pursuit to always keep learning is based on his personal and professional experience. He enjoys seeing patients and the practice of Neurology.

Sanah Rahman is a Physician Assistant at Atit Neurology.
She is driven by her passion for understanding and treating the intricate disorders pertaining to neurology. With a background in healthcare and a commitment to lifelong learning, she did her training in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and Brooklyn, New York.

She prioritizes patient-centered care, taking the time to listen to each individual’s concerns and goals. With a compassionate approach and a commitment to excellence, she strives to make a positive impact in the lives of those struggling with neurological conditions, helping them navigate their journey to better health and quality of life.

Jaime Burns
Jaime BurnsMSN, APRN

Jaime comes to Atit Neurology with over twenty-years of nursing experience originally beginning as a practical nurse in the setting of adult medicine, she has since then gone through several years of schooling and is now an Advanced Practice Nurse holding a master’s degree in nursing science.

Since 2018 Jaime has taken care of a wide variety of patients in primary care and long-term care. In 2020 Jaime joined Atit Neurology and found a passion for neurology. While she enjoys caring for patients experiencing all neurological disorders, she had a particular passion for Headache Medicine. She has a goal to assist all of her headache patients achieve control of their Headache disorder, thereby improving their quality of life. In order to help achieve this, Jaime is active in The International Headache Society, American Headache Society, American Migraine Association, and The American Academy of Neurology where she stays up-to-date on treatment guidelines and new options available for each patient.

How We Help To Protect You From COVID-19

Atit Neurology’s top priority is the health and well-being of our patients and staff. To protect you and our team members during this time, we’ve put certain safety measures in place at our medical office. All safety processes and cleaning procedures are based on guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). If needed, an appropriate mask will be provided upon arrival. We also provide a telehealth process in case you can not attend in person for your appointment.
